If you are researching a Master’s in Health and Safety, this programme provides a route to a University of Portsmouth MBA with a specialisation in Occupational Health and Safety Management for eligible professionals who already hold relevant Level 7 Diploma in Health and Safety Management qualifications.

It is particularly relevant to professionals working across occupational health, health and safety, HSE, safety management and related operational or management functions

You should have an Ofqual regulated level 7 in a related subject or a post graduate diploma equivalent to access this Top-Up. Significant senior management experience may also be considered.

If English isn’t your first language, IELTS 6.5 with normally no less than 6.0 in any band (or equivalent) is required. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.

The programme is designed for professionals who already have relevant postgraduate study at Level 7 or equivalent. Rather than repeating a complete Master’s programme, eligible applicants progress through the University’s approved top-up route and complete the academic requirements needed for the MBA award.
